IWTYAL 133: Advanced English without speaking more

Angel asks: “How can I improve my advanced English even more?”

In this episode:

  • At the advanced level, you have so many options for studying
  • Even native speakers face the same dilemma
  • I recommend specialising in a field of life or work, so you can use English as a vehicle in a more academic setting

    Hey Olly,
Great advice ( and I must admit that have forgotten it..). Without any goals any learning approach is difficult. I remember, back in the old days at university, I got stuck. But I made the goal to leave the university with a degree and made it (and had worked harder on it ).
